'Skaði'

This design is inspired by Victorian evening gowns, but unboned and cut in a medieval style.

The gown features embriodery based on a 15th century clay tile from Great Malvern Abbey, spaced around the deep scooped neckline, the narrow fluted pull-on sleeves, along the edge of the train and on the bag.

The narrow belt is decorated with the cross detail from the main embroidery and delicate belt buckle

and Quatrefoil belt end, both 15th century medieval replicas, cast in English pewter.

The gown is laced down the back, with handmade cords, through hand-sewn holes.

All hems and details are hand-finished, with no visible machine stitching.

The gown is made from hand-woven Dupion silk, and fully lined with acetate satin.

It comes with a matching medieval style pouch bag.

Gown is shown in no 1 Brilliant White with Silver Dust embroidery.
